About

Haverstraw is embarking on a journey to redefine its identity and enhance community vibrancy.
Selected for the prestigious New York State Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) program in 2021, Haverstraw is now partnering with Destination by Design (DbD), a renowned planning, design, and communications firm from Boone, North Carolina, on a cohesive brand to celebrate its rich history, scenic waterfront, and vibrant cultural scene.
This project will also include designing intuitive wayfinding signage and other marketing tools to showcase and promote Haverstraw's unique charm to residents and the world.
The public is invited to attend a workshop, and share ideas through surveys to ensure this project reflects our community's values and aspirations.
